A. Balantereshchuk.helvetica@gmail.comS. A. Shvaykintereshchuk.helvetica@gmail.com
This scientific study explores the motivations of economic (labor) migrants. It reveals that eco- nomic migrants exhibit a complex and sometimes contradictory structure in their motivational sphere. Most participants show a moderate level of motivation related to social recognition and the need for broad social contacts, indicating the importance of social approval and integration into the social environment. At the same time, most respondents do not demonstrate a strong orientation toward forming and maintaining long-term, stable relationships with a close circle of colleagues. This may suggest superficial social connections and a lack of deep integration into professional micro-groups.Material incentives remain a moderately significant motivational factor: the majority of partici- pants are focused on earning a high salary. The study also found a low tendency toward creativity and innovation, combined with a tolerance for routine and only a moderate need for engaging and meaningful work.A contradiction was identified: on one hand, respondents are willing to accept monotony and a lack of constant stimulation; on the other hand, they do not show a strong drive to seek mean- ing and personal significance in their professional activities. This may indicate a certain balance between adapting to standard working conditions and a limited focus on self-realization through work. The findings suggest that the motivational sphere of the participants is dominated by pragmatic and socially-oriented motives (financial security, recognition, social contacts), while motivation for creativity, professional self-realization, and deep interpersonal interaction is relatively weak. This points to an adaptive, but not innovation-driven, motivational model that supports stable function- ing but limits potential for personal growth and creative development.A two-factor model of the resource sphere in forced migrants was identified, consisting of an adaptation-external factor and an economic benefit factor.
2025-11-26T00:00:00+02:00Copyright (c) http://www.journals.onu.in.ua/index.php/psy/article/view/304CONFLICT-PROVOKING BEHAVIOR OF CHILDREN AS A CONSEQUENCE OF DYSFUNCTIONAL EDUCATIONAL INFLUENCE2025-11-19T14:39:18+02:00O. M. Budyachenkotereshchuk.helvetica@gmail.com
Conflict-provoking in children’s have been an actual problem of the modern psychology and-ped- agogy, since they exert a negative impact on the social-adaptation and interaction with the environ- ment. One of the key factors of its formation is a dysfunctional educational environment that involves not only conflicts between parents but also the use of the harsh methods of upbringing and the model- ing of aggressive behavior. The goal of this research was to study the effect of dysfunctional parenting environment on the formation of conflict behavior in primary and middle school children. Focus was made on the mechanisms of behavior modeling, emotional dysregulation, and the role of moderators like age, gender, and self-control level. The study was cross-sectional in design and had a sample of around 500 students from grades 5–8 from various schools, aged 10 to 14 years. Data were collected using standardized questionnaires that assessed family dysfunction, observation of aggression in the family, emotional dysregulation, and the manifestations of conflict behavior in children. The findings from the correlational and structural analysis showed that family dysfunction fac- tors and the modeling of parental and elder family members’ aggressive behavior were those that correlated positively with the level of children’s conflict behavior. Emotional dysregulation was the intermediary that bridged the gap between family dysfunction and children’s aggressive mani- festations. Moreover, the differentiation of the factors’ influence by age and gender was also found indicating the necessity of taking into consideration the individual traits when designing preventive and correctional programs. The facts of the research have corroborated the necessity of a comprehensive approach for the prevention of conflict behavior, that is a work both with children and their family environment, development of emotional self-control and provision of support to positive parenting styles. The promising directions of further researches are longitudinal observations to establish the cause- effect relationships, assessment of the socio-cultural context impact and the early intervention pro- grams pilot for rending family dysfunction and children’s aggressive behavior levels.
2025-11-26T00:00:00+02:00Copyright (c) http://www.journals.onu.in.ua/index.php/psy/article/view/305TRAINING PROGRAM “SETTLEMENT OF MARITAL CONFLICTS IN CONDITIONS OF WAR”: CONTENT, STRUCTURE, AND IMPLEMENTATION PROCEDURE2025-11-19T14:39:23+02:00O. The purpose of the study is the need to understand the problems of elderly people acquiring digital competencies for the development of volunteer activity as a form of social inclusion.Research methodology. To implement the task, an integrated research design was used: a com- bination of qualitative and quantitative research methods. As an empirical basis, a series of in-depth interviews were conducted with volunteers, managers and leaders of volunteer groups of elderly people (n = 18). By gender, the respondents are 84.7% women and 15.7% men, by areas of education – humanitarian (60.4%), technical (39.6%).As an additional method, document analysis, secondary analysis of data obtained in past proj- ects and data obtained through questionnaires (n=176) were used. Age range of respondents: from 60 to 80 years. The scientific novelty of the article lies in the fact that for the first time, through comprehensive research, data were obtained that allow establishing the possibilities of developing volunteer activi- ties of elderly people using digital technologies, and further development, scientific ideas were gained about ways to improve the forms and methods of social inclusion of elderly people in the conditions of digitalization of social processes. The conclusions of the study confirm the hypothesis that for certain groups of the population, such as the elderly, the digitalization of volunteer practices has become not only an opportunity to participate in volunteer activities, but also an important factor of inclusion in social life based on overcoming the risk of social exclusion associated with isolation caused by emergency situations (the COVID-19 pandemic and Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine).
2025-11-26T00:00:00+02:00Copyright (c) http://www.journals.onu.in.ua/index.php/psy/article/view/309FEATURES OF TEACHING PSYCHOTHERAPY IN AN INCLUSIVE HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION (USING THE EXAMPLE OF THE UNIVERSITY “UKRAINE”)2025-11-19T14:39:29+02:00I. S. Myronenkotereshchuk.helvetica@gmail.com
The article reveals the relevance of the problem of correction of maladaptive psychological defenses and harmonization of personal functioning in the context of modern socio-psychological challenges. The need for scientifically based approaches aimed at revealing the potential of the individual, increasing the level of self-acceptance, developing reflexivity and value integration is emphasized. The purpose of the article is to reveal the content and analyze the results of the implementation of a comprehensive program of psychological support for the development of posi- tive self-attitude and correction of psychological defenses by means of positive psychotherapy. A description and empirical outcomes of the training program, which consists of four blocks and is a developmental psychological and therapeutic system built on the principles of positive psychother- apy, are presented. The program was implemented in a group work format for 24 weeks (13 classes of 6 hours each) among students of the basic course of Positive Psychotherapy of the Terra Bal- ance Center. The training for stabilizing self-esteem and the system of personal attitudes is based on the assumption that the use of methods and techniques of positive psychotherapy contributes to personal growth, strengthening the self-concept, harmonization of its structural components and, accordingly, correction of psychological defenses. The scientific novelty of the program lies in the creation of a holistic correctional and developmental model aimed at the comprehensive harmo- nization of the personality with simultaneous work on self-perception, interpersonal contacts, the value-meaning sphere and professional self-realization. The results obtained indicate a pronounced tendency to reduce the intensity of psychological defenses as the subjects immerse themselves in the method of Positive Psychotherapy, as well as constructive changes in the system of self-atti- tudes. P. Moskovetstereshchuk.helvetica@gmail.com
The article presents a theoretical study of the essence of the concepts of “crisis” and “crisis situation.” It has been established that a “crisis” is considered as a stage of life and a stage of development. When faced with a crisis situation, a person is forced to change their perception of the world and themselves, and to change their way of being. Changes in life can be both positive and negative. In the case of a positive experience, the person moves to a new level of development, and post-traumatic growth occurs. It is noted that a crisis is a person’s reaction to a crisis situation. It has been established that a crisis situation unfolds in the following sequence: stress, frustration, conflict, crisis. It is emphasized that in crisis situations, a person becomes very sensitive to influences, their behavior becomes unpredictable, and therefore requires psychological support from specialists. A theoretical analysis of the concept of “psychological support” in scientific literature has been carried out. The components of psychological support have been identified: emotional, evaluative, informational, and instrumental. The tasks of psychological support for individuals in crisis situations have been determined.
2025-11-26T00:00:00+02:00Copyright (c) http://www.journals.onu.in.ua/index.php/psy/article/view/314STATE AND NON-STATE PROGRAMS TO SUPPORT YOUTH IN MARTIAL ARTS CONDITIONS2025-11-19T14:39:36+02:00V. The purpose of the study is to test an empirical model of psychological mechanisms of adaptation of maritime specialists to military stressors in view of the transformation of their value structure. Within the framework of the empirical study, a sample of 60 sailors was diagnosed and interviewed. It was found that the psychological characteristics of adaptation are determined by three components: stress resistance, socio-psychological adaptability, and the value-semantic sphere, which form a complex system of individual adaptation to extreme conditions. A transformation of the value structure was revealed: the most significant values became service and helping others, family ties, and professional competence. For sailors, who are separated from their families and familiar social environments for long periods of time, often work in closed communities, and face uncertainty, these values take on special significance, as they determine the direction of behavioral strategies. The scale of internal migration, the transformation of social practices of interaction, and the need to develop scientifically sound approaches to supporting IDPs determines the relevance of the study. The analysis focuses on social perception as a system of ideas, attributions, and attitudes that determine the nature of intergroup interaction between migrants and the local population. The theoretical framework is based on the concepts of intergroup contact, social identity, and accultura- tion strategies, which allow us to explain the influence of cognitive and emotional mechanisms of perception on integration processes. A review of contemporary Ukrainian and foreign studies high- lighting the connection between social perception, trust levels, the spread of stereotypes, informa- tion security, and the psychological well-being of IDPs has been conducted. Empirical data on the role of intergroup contact, procedural justice, media literacy, and information narratives in shaping the readiness of host communities for inclusion have been summarized. It has been determined that successful adaptation strategies are based on a combination of structural support conditions and perceptual factors that reduce social distance, promote positive social perceptions, and involve IDPs in community life. B. Tsomyktereshchuk.helvetica@gmail.com
The article presents a theoretical study of the role of sanogenic thinking in overcoming delayed life syndrome, a psychological condition that is becoming widespread in the context of the ongo- ing full-scale war in Ukraine. The essence of both phenomena is analyzed, in particular, the psy- chological mechanisms of procrastination, avoidance, fear of action, and decreased motivation are revealed, which block life activity and lead to emotional burnout, loss of meaning in life, and depressive states. Particular attention is paid to the structural components of sanogenic thinking as an internal resource of the personality: value-motivational (responsibility, self-worth, tolerance of uncertainty), cognitive-reflective (awareness, rethinking destructive beliefs), emotional-volitional (emotion regulation, stress resistance), and conative-regulatory (planning, goal-oriented behavior).Based on a synthesis of the positions of domestic and foreign researchers, it is proven that it is the comprehensive activation of these components that allows breaking the vicious circle of SWL. The article proposes practical strategies for developing sanogenic thinking, such as setting personally meaningful goals, keeping a reflection journal, cognitive reconstruction, relaxation techniques, and perceiving crisis as an opportunity for personal growth. It is emphasized that sanogenic thinking is not only a theoretical concept, but also a practical tool for psychological resilience, ensuring the ability to live fully “here and now,” maintaining an active life position even in conditions of extreme uncertainty and social turbulence.
2025-11-26T00:00:00+02:00Copyright (c) http://www.journals.onu.in.ua/index.php/psy/article/view/325SELF-REGULATION AS A FACTOR OF CONSTRUCTIVE VERBAL BEHAVIOR2025-11-19T14:39:53+02:00A. V. Chumaktereshchuk.helvetica@gmail.com
The article examines verbal behavior as an effective mechanism for regulating psycho-emotional states. It is established that the development of constructive verbal strategies facilitates the compre- hension and structuring of inner experience, the transformation of affective reactions into symbolic form, and the maintenance of communicative adequacy even under heightened psycho-emotionaltension. The aim of the pilot study was to identify the peculiarities of verbal behavior amongindividuals with different levels of self-regulation in conditions of psycho-emotional strain. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the application of an author-designed questionnaire for the analysis of verbal behavior in combination with a self-regulation diagnostic technique, which made it possible to describe the specificity of verbal activity in intensive stress situations. The findings demonstrated that respondents with high and medium levels of self-control maintained restrained verbal behavior even in extreme conditions, whereas respondents with low levels of self-regulation used non-normative vocabulary as an unconscious means of regulating psycho-emotional states. These results allow the conclusion that psychoprophylactic and corrective interventions should be directed toward the gradual development of constructive verbal strategies instead of destructive verbal means.
2025-11-26T00:00:00+02:00Copyright (c) http://www.journals.onu.in.ua/index.php/psy/article/view/326PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL FOUNDATIONS OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF FACILITATIVE COMPETENCE OF FUTURE SOCIAL WORKERS IN THE SYSTEM OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING2025-11-19T14:39:55+02:00Ya. I. Yurkivtereshchuk.helvetica@gmail.comA. V. Moldovanovtereshchuk.helvetica@gmail.com
In the article, based on a scientific analysis of theoretical and empirical sources devoted to the problem of the development of facilitative competence in future social workers, we can draw generalizing conclusions: 1) facilitative competence as a holistic psychological and pedagogical phenomenon (facilitative competence of a social worker is an integrated professional and personal quality that includes cognitive, emotional-value, motivational and practical components; it ensures effective interaction with clients, promotes the development of their potential, self-determination and adaptation in difficult social conditions, which is confirmed by scientific positions that focus on the multi-level structure of facilitative competence, in particular on such components as empathy, cognitive flexibility, tolerance, subject-subject interaction); 2) the educational environment as a space for the development of facilitative competence (professional training of future social workers should be based on such pedagogical conditions that stimulate facilitative behavior: interactivity, partnership, interpersonal support, modeling of real social situations, role-playing interaction; the facilitative position of the teacher who transfers knowledge and creates a favorable climate for the development of a higher education student is important); 3) the practical component as an important factor in the formation of facilitative competence (a special role in the development of facilitative competence belongs to volunteering, practice-oriented forms of learning and reflective practices, which activate students’ acquisition of interaction experience, contribute to the development of empathy, responsibility, and the ability to self-realization; volunteering stimulates a facilitative position through real help to others, adaptation to difficult social situations, and the development of social and communicative skills). It was found that the development of facilitative competence of future social workers requires a comprehensive psychological and pedagogical approach.
2025-11-26T00:00:00+02:00Copyright (c)
